Bleeding during 2nd trimester? Or just hemorrhoids?
Well, an hour ago, I went to the bathroom. I went # 2. Well, I wiped myself from the front to the back and the third time I did this, I saw some blood on the toilet paper. It was bright red. (It was like if I was having a light period) Before this, I saw nothing brown and just saw a little of my clear leukorrhea (I haven’t had much discharge during the entire pregnancy.After this, I freaked and made sure to wipe in vaginal area gently… again, there was nothing red, not even brown. When I wiped only in my butt area (Sorry if this is TMI!). I saw little drops of blood. Since this, I haven’t seen anything anywhere. I am dry and thought that perhaps it came from my bottom. I’ve had some drops of blood there after a bowel movement but this freaked me out because the amount was the size of a half dollar. I don’t have any pain or discomfort and my boyfriend said it was probably cause I had wiped too hard..
PS. I’m 22 weeks.
Has anyone else experienced this? Should I be all that worried
Oh and I haven;t had sex since Thursday (two days)
I am just asking because I have had a previous miscarriage so thats why I freaked a little.. Thanks for all your answers so far!

did it hurt real bad to go? or did you have to push real hard? if so, it was probably just from being constipated.. i remember going to the er when i was pregnant for bleeding and i was crying and being all dramatic and they asked me these questions and told me it was probably just from that! i was so embarassed haha good luck if it keeps coming id suggest callin the doc
It’s probably a hemorrhoid. I get that sometimes when I go #2. I have to double check also to make sure the bleeding wasn’t coming from my vaginal area. If it happens again, you should call your doctor and ask them what they think. But I’m pretty sure it’s only hemorrhoids. I haven’t had many with this pregnancy (thank God!) but with my other 2, I had them ALL the time.
Possibly hemorrhoids if the bleeding is definitely not from your vaginal area. Take a mirror and while sitting on the toilet try to look at your anal area or however embarrassing ask your partner to look you will be able to see the hemorrhoids.

It’s just a hemmeroid. Calm down! I often get them during pregnancy. i have gotten one that made the whole toilet red. If you not experiencing any pain you are lucky. Try drinking lots of water and staying away from the salt. Make a doctor’s appointment just to be sure it’s not anything else. It sounds like a hemeroid to me though. If it starts to hurt buy some Preperation H in the tube not those stupid wipes. If it still bothers you you could sit in a VERY clean tub with warm water or one of those sitz bath thingies.
