   Hemorrhoids go away on their own. The only thing you can do now is to stay away from spicy foods and try to get more fiber in your diet.

   If it hurts to sit down because of the swelling you can buy Preparation H at the drug store and apply it to the swollen area. This is a topical treatment only. Don’t put it inside the rectum; just the outside.
