Hemorrhoid Surgery!!! How to reduce Post-Opt pain?
Right now I regret having surgery it was probably the worst choice I ever made in my entire life. The pain from the Hemorrhoids were nothing compared to the pain after the surgery. My first advice if you have hemorrhoids refuse any surgery for as long as possible, or at least make sure you have 4-5 Weeks free after the surgery. (Also have a few people willing to cater you during this time) The pain is so severe I end up screaming bloody murder in my College Dorms bathroom. I have a half a mind to take about 5-6 Tylenol, and 5-6 Aleve at the same time to relieve pain, and if it kills me fine it is better than this horrible pain. So I am asking is there any concoction of Pain meds that won’t kill me, but will relieve pain considerably. Don’t worry about following dosage instructions just give me the Concoctions. I am only 19 years old, and should not have to be going through this. I missed out on Thanksgiving, because the pain was so bad.
Doc did prescribe a Pain Killer, but since it causes constipation and that just makes it 10x’s worse when i go. I had to choose Constipation and it causes more pain, or no constipation, and then the pain located there. Both Pains are unbearable, but the Constipation makes it just a little worse.
link to a site that has opinions of others, and what kind of pain is involved. Some mothers who gave birth naturally found the post op of this surgery to be 10x’s worse. Imagine that for a bit.

your doctor should have given you something stronger like a prescription pain reliever. I would call him asap or whoever is on call. Until then the strongest thing you can take over the counter is 800 mg of Advil (that would be 4 tablets, they are 200 mg each). That is prescription strength.
Oy, this does sound pretty bad. When you finally heal, you may be glad you did it, but now it ruined your holiday. I would call the doctor so he can give you real pain killers that work, not over the counter pills.
sounds bad dear.sorry for that.i faced this when i was 13 years old.i operated my intestines.really it not easy to tolerate the pain.well i am thankful to you for sharing your experience of hemorrhoids.learned lot from your post.
