Help Me!! My mother has a serious, serious case of internal hemorrhoids?
She doesn’t want to do surgery. She bleeds a lot, whenever she uses the restroom (literally bleeds from the backside). She’s had this problem for 3 years, and it keeps getting worse. (She also has high blood pressure). She drinks a lot of water, takes Vitamin C, but what else is there? I’m skeptical of all these different cures available online, they all seem like scams. I’m really worried, and I know she is also, but she doesn’t actually care about her health (doesn’t have a doctor). Any advice, home tips, or REAL cures? Thank you so much in advance.
Thank you all so much for your answers. I was surprised when I found this many, and it made me feel better. I’m kind of confused because of the contrasting replies, but I can incorporate them all. Somehow. I think I’ll just continue taking care of her at home, and I guess eventually she’ll have to see a doctor.
She looses about 2 cups a day.

Convinvce her to go to a doctor. Keep trying
Get a doctor to come to your house.
She will die if she does not get surgery within a couple of months to a couple of years. Tell her she is gambling with her own life. It may not just be hemorrhoids. It could be something much more serious like Colon cancer.
For most external hemorrhoids, home treatment is all you need. This includes slowly adding fiber to your meals, drinking more water, and using over-the-counter ointments for a limited time to stop itching. You also may use stool softeners. The same home treatment can be used for most internal hemorrhoids.
If your internal hemorrhoids are severe, you may need other treatment. The doctor may tie off the hemorrhoids with rubber bands or scar the tissue around the hemorrhoids. These treatments reduce the blood supply to the hemorrhoids so that they shrink or go away.
Surgery to remove hemorrhoids may be done if other treatments don’t work.
Healthy habits can help you prevent hemorrhoids or keep them from getting worse. Eat foods that have lots of fiber, such as fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Also, drink plenty of water, and get plenty of exercise.
ok shes gonna die if they keep getting worse, too much internal bleeding will kill you. just call a doctor or 911 and say she is crazy so they can just take her without her permission and problem solved, her butt bleeding is done
The only way to cure that is to have surgery.
This is a VERY serious situation! You need to do everything in your power to convince her to let someone help! You need to pull every GUILT CARD necessary trust me! When it comes to frustrating parents with medical issues you need to fully invest yourself into helping them! I wish you all the luck in the world! Blessings to you.
there are two natural cures online that I know for a fact work because my brother had the exact same problem and was just as damned stubborn about it. Surgery is the fastest way to cure this and if she doesn’t get medical attention fast… it can kill her from the bleeding. Many people don’t think small amounts of rectal blood is serious, but what you don’t realize is you’re literally bleeding to death inside and if you are not smart about it, you will literally die from being stubborn… it’s possible to be so stubborn that you end up killing yourself!
Listen up though… most of that garbage you see online IS scam bait. But the two holistic home remedies worked for my brother in 2 months time, there are only 2 that were legit that I bought from online. I can’t give you the link because this darned Yahoo system isn’t letting it go through for some reason. I wonder if I can suggest the source without getting some troll banning me?
Seeking medical help is essence here. See a doc who can convince her procedures related is painless – I think the pain is the issue in her mind. Alternatively traditional medicine/herbs are less painful but take too long a process.
For time been, try taking yogurt with rice, no chili at all and possible take in coconut drinks. It will ease some pain and some bleeding! Tea without milk/sugar could be taken instead of coffee or others!
Please take care of mum, they are dear to us!
Just say Mom look I’m very worried and it is hurting me seeing you like this please go see a doctor. Your Mom is probably embarrassed so tell her you will be there for her the whole time. Look I still imagine my first gyno apt or rectal exam and I can tell you its not a place I like going back every year. BUT if it was my MOM:I would make the appointment for her myself and tell her she is going and if she wants to act like the child then I will act like the adult if it was my MOM. Good luck and good luck to your mom!
Plenty of fiber in her diet. Metamucil may be helpful in helping to achieving soft but formed bowel movements that are easy to pass. Keeping the bottom clean and dry is essential. Do some research or consult a dietitian regarding diet. It will be worth it.
she has ém bad .
only thru surgery
Try looking up her symptoms on http://www.realage.com this site is run by the doctor that is on Oprah Winfrey all the time, it is full of medical information.
This is not spam and it is free.
Also try http://www.webmd.com
You can also call 911 and have her checked by a doctor that way.
I don’t blame her for avoiding surgery,,, your body can heal itself with the right help and it is all natural. If you seriously want help e-mail me and I can point you in the right direction.
I am 46 and had the same thing for several years until I started taking this nutritional supplement and it straightened out so many health problems it feels like I am a new person, I feel 20 years younger!
Think about it… everyone says "see a doctor" but what do they have "a practice" and they practice on people with drugs supplied by people that only care about the money!
She has no other choice but to go see a doctor. Avoidance of dealing with the underlying problem and finding appropriate treatment will only cause the condition to worsen. A qualified healthcare professional is usually seen when an individual suffers from bleeding hemorrhoids. If it is necessary to have a hemorrhoid surgically removed, this is something your mother should speak to her doctor about and he or she will decide if this is the best option for her.
Hey there dusty ,
Surgery is an option for curing hemorrhoids but should be used one once all
other methods have been exhausted. Surgery usually results in a very painful
recovery period and can be very expensive. Different hemorrhoid surgeries have
different success rates but in general none can guarantee a permanent cure of hemorrhoids.
There is a Blog by Elizabeth Moore on that topic http://myhemorrhoidcurestory.com/hemorrhoids.html
I’ve tried a lot of methods to get rid of my hemorrhoids and nothing worked for me :\
.
Eventually a friend told me about a natural method called H Miracle, you could do the same for your mother
