why do people who have bowel cancer blled dard red blood from thier bum, and why do they sometimes have diarea

   GET CHECKED OUT AND STOP WASTING EVERYONE’S TIME. GET SERIOUS ABOUT YOUR HEALTH. How many times are you going to ask the same questions. First of all you do not know if you have colon cancer, so how would WE know if it has spread.

   The dark red blood is old blood that is passing out. The mucous means nothing and they feel good one day and bad the next the same as any cancer patient does. Some days you feel better than other others. Think of having a cold. One day you may feel really miserable but the next day you feel pretty good and then the day after not so good again. The diarrhea is caused by the body not being able to digest the food properly most of the time.

   people with bowel cancer can have no symptoms at all.. So bleeding has nothing to do with what stage of the cancer the person is in.

   Many other conditions, can cause bleeding in their stool you need a detail examination from a DR to conclude if its cancer or not.

   Yes, Blood in the stool is a symptom of cancer and black/dark stool indicate that the blood is old.

   You should ask an oncologist these questions or find out the information online. Colon cancer is treatable and curable in the early stages.
