I would like all opinions on this. My story is that I have dabbled on the other side of the fence. I did sin. I was involved in a number of gay relationships. I also found myself questioning the normalcy of homosexuality. It became clear to me that hemorrhoids, bleeding and, as it was in my case, a rectal prolapse are not signs that anything is normal with the acts of homosexuality.

From here I commenced searching for answers to some big questions like what makes us orientate the way we do sexually? I met with a counselor on a weekly basis to try and resolve my issues within myself. I concluded that gender is something that we impose upon ourselves. Gender and not biological sex, which is determined by chromosomes.

I have also became open to appreciating that I had sinned against a real God, who would be able to heal me from every offense that I had committed. I and not the devil.

So that’s me in a very narrow snapshot. I have read around Answers. It appears that the general take is that homosexuality is fine and normal. I’m living proof to the contrary of that opinion and I’m not alone. The conditions I suffered from my dalliances are not at all rare. So it makes me wonder. Why do others think so highly of something that does a lot of real damage? It sounds all well and good to say homosexuality is normal. Some even try to argue that God made us/them that way. No he didn’t. I’m much convinced of the fact that we impose gender identity on ourselves.

Heterosexuality isn’t only decent. It also makes sense. The ‘equipment’ used in the act is designed to work in the act properly.

The rectum has no sexual purpose. Nerves in it can only detect motion in one direction, which is out and away from the body. The passage also allows for damage to the prostate gland.

I’m sorry if this offends anyone. I’m only sharing what I have reflected on during these last months or so.

Everyone is welcome to share his views. None of this Atheists and Christians dichotomy.
Going on how the anus works, I would say it is unusual for everyone who has an anus and uses it for that purpose, post-maker number 1.

Propaganda? I think I know my own life.
Pposter three- are you trying to compare a human, emotion-based homosexual relationship to an animal’s instinct? That would be foolish to do, not to mention plain arrogant and boorish.
Archie obviously has no experience in homosexuality. I flatted with a gentleman who himself had rectal incontinence after prolonged relationships and I guess you can call it flat out abuse of his rectum. It happens a lot, blind Archie.
The rest of you big-noting idiots (you know who you are, big talking know-nothings) know nothing and jump to delicate little conclusions that are so far removed from reality that it makes me sick.

Thanks for the rare tone of cool and distant agreement, to those who provided that.
