Hemorrhoids During Pregnancy?
I am 11 1/2 weeks pregnant and I have been very constipated these past 2 weeks. I have had IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) for the last 5 yrs and the pregnancy is just acting it up something fierce. I have started taking colace (w/ my dr’s approval) every day and it is just not helping. I drink almost a gallon of water a day and I eat alot of fiber. I have recently discovered that I now have a hemorrhoid and sometimes it bleeds when I use the bathroom. I have an appt to go to the dr tomorrow. I was wondering if anyone else had a similar problem.

Hemorrhoids are very common in pregnancy because of the pressure from being constipated. Your best bet is to go to the drug store and buy some Anusol or something for quick relief other than that there isn’t too much you can do. With me I had it near the beginning then they went away until my last two weeks and lasted until after I had my daughter. Good luck!
