I have heard the surgery isn't the greatest thing to do but it does cure this mess and it stops what you are having trouble doing. you were right to have those tests run and i would just get suregery and take care of the problem cause its going to be there long time more and the older you get the worse it will get. seeing you are not cancerous it could accur caus eof those prolbems i wouldn't take things so lightly.

There is a pretty simple procedure your doctor can do in his office, well, at least most doctors can do it in the office.

Injection sclerotherapy is a medical procedure used to treat small internal hemorrhoids. This fixative procedure uses a chemical that scars the tissues and cuts off the hemorrhoids' blood supply.

The doctor injects the chemical into the vein within a hemorrhoid. The chemical causes the vein to harden and the hemorrhoid tissue to die. A scar forms in place of the hemorrhoid on the wall of the anal canal. The scar tissue, which is firm and thick, holds nearby tissue and veins in place so they don't bulge into the anal canal.

Bleeding from the anus occurs 7 to 10 days after the procedure, when the hemorrhoid falls off. Bleeding is usually slight and stops by itself.

You may use mild pain relievers and sit in a shallow tub of warm water (sitz bath) for 15 minutes at a time to relieve discomfort.
To reduce the risk of bleeding, avoid taking nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) for 4 to 5 days both before and after injection sclerotherapy.

Health professionals recommend that you take stool softeners containing fiber to ensure smooth bowel movements. Straining during bowel movements can cause hemorrhoids to recur.

You can insist that he do something or refer you to someone who can help, if he won't.

Tell your doctor about this issue. This is something that can probably be fixed by the RIGHT person, and that person is not you.

My grandfather suffered from bleeding whenever he went to the bathroom for several months. He ignored the problem and went on with his life. He would bleed every time he pooped. One day, he was in so much pain that he had to be rushed to the hospital. Before he got there, he died. He died from large intestine cancer.
