Colonoscopy and Internal Hemorrhoids?
I just got a colonoscopy today and all the results were normal. It showed a normal study but it also mentioned Internal Hemorrhoids. Can somebody explain me what does this mean? Do i need to watch out for something? I am just 21 so I don’t want to have any problems in the future… Thanks for your help!

OK, I am 21 and they told me the same thing about 6 months ago. From what I understood as long as they don’t hurt it won’t do anything to you..but don’t strain at all or they will flare up and it will really hurt. Take more baths and eat more fiber to prevent them from hurting.
Hemorrhoids, internal or external, are caused by excessive friction in the bowels or sometimes by hypertension. These can be treated and prevented by eating a good diet and getting plenty of exercise. Fiber is very important.
