do symtoms of bowel cancer go away for a few weeks then return?
i.e pain when bowels open and blood in stools, this comes for a few days and then gos for a few weeks, if it was cancer would it be constant??
i dont have mucus in my stools but they do change consistancy from time to time

Most people with blood in their stool have hemorroids - but get it checked out for sure.
And you can’t generalize or diagnose yourself this way - cancer does anything it wants in the way of symptoms.

No.It could be anything,diverticulitis,hemorrhoids or worse.Go to your doctor as instructed by these others for a thorough examination.
There are so many things with the same symptoms you listed. It does not always mean cancer but that is number 1 people think of & fear. Please go to a MD for tests, It may be something simple drugs can cure. Good luck.
