Take a citrus bioflavenoid internally (such as rutin, hesperdin or diosmin).
Externally, you can use an aloe vera gel to soothe and heal.
You can also make a cranberry compress….chop a handful of cranberries, wrap in cheese cloth and use as a compress.
Witch hazel pads are also very soothing, or you can add witch hazel to a sitz bath.
Good luck. For more remedies, look at http://www.my-home-remedies.com/home-remedies-for-hemorrhoids.html
Put any good lubricant on a piece of tissue, and apply it to the area. (Sunburn cream, etc). Drink 2 glasses of warm water first thing in the morning (every morning) to soften the stool so you don’t strain so much when going to the bathroom.
* Eat foods high in fiber. Foods which are high in fiber soften your stools and reduce chance of constipation. This makes it a lot easier and less painful when going to the toilet. Foods high in fiber include fruits and vegetables, cereals, bran and beans. Eating high amounts of these types of foods will help you to cure hemorrhoids.
* Drink at least 8 glasses of water per day. Water makes up of 80% of our body mass and keeping hydrated has many benefits and will help you to cure hemorrhoids. Fruit juice is also very helpful for those who suffer from hemorrhoids as it’s packed with fiber.
* Apply ice to the affected area. This is a great pain reliever. It reduces blood flow to the hemorrhoid and therefore reduces the size of the hemorrhoid. It also numbs the area which helps relieve pain. Try crushing the ice and wrapping it in a small towel and applying it to the affected area 3 times daily.
* Keep your digestive system at its best by exercising for 20 minutes each day – this can be as simple as walking to the shops or down the street at lunch time. Strenuous exercise is not important; the key is to simply be as active.
Haemorrhoids or piles are mostly due to chronic constipation and hard stools.
So make sure you drink lots of water.Eat foods that are rich in fibre such as fruits, green veggies, figs.
Take wild amla juice, or powder, with cream top of yogurt, twice a day.
