Not until after the small intestine. large intestine= colon
The colon is not directly attached to the stomach. After the stomach comes the duodenum, then the small intestines, then the colon. The colon attaches to the small intestine in your lower right side and travels upward, then across your middle ( here it is closest to the stomach. You might say it meets the stomach here; like says hello or something, but it is not attached to it), the colon then turns down your left side and meets the rectum.
