How to cure hemorrhoids? I'm a girl, PLEASE HELP!?
I’m 24 and have had one external hemorrhoid (a soft bump) for a couple of weeks and it won’t go away! It’s mortifying.
I can’t afford to go to the doctor, how can I get rid of it at home? I’ve done some research but mostly found websites offering their products instead of help.
I’ve read you can help it by using Preparation H, it’s not really doing anything though.

For starters, increasing the fiber and water in your diet should help. You want to avoid having hard bowel motions, as this doesn’t help the cause. If this doesn’t help you could try buying some stool softeners from a supermarket or pharmacy. When you are using the toilet, make sure you are comfortable and relaxed. Don’t strain or push too hard, you should be able to just relax and let things happen. Toilet time should not be too long, as this can cause problems also.
I’m only aware of surgery to remove external hemorrhoids.
Prep H only relieves the burning/itching. It isn’t a cure. As far as I know, there is no "cure".
Just eat lots of fiber and don’t exert those muscles, otherwise you may make the external hemorrhoid worse.

Getting more fiber in your diet is going to help for starters but you could try a tepid bath for about 10 minutes a day. That should help too.

If you have this hemorrhoid then there are several ways to get rid of it:
Natural- This is the cheapest and most soothing method most go with. Drinking water, consuming fiber are a few ways or getting rid of the symptoms of hemorrhoids. The problem is they only deal with the symptoms, which wont solve the root problem immediately.
Medical- These are the ointments, cremes, pills and suppositories offered by the doctor and various websites online. Most only take care of symptoms and make you spend more money, however there are a few out there the gets rid of the actual hemorrhoid itself.
Surgical- the route no one want to take. Its costly and can even leave pain for you to deal with for weeks after the surgery is over.
These are the methods available for you. I did not go into detail about each one and i did not give you a specific option to go with because different things work for different people.
