I'm sorry but... If I had cancer I would NOT get chemo or radiation. Most people will however, rely on their doctors who are trained by the medical schools that are supported by the drug industry that really don't want cancer to be cured. They make too much money from treating cancer.

Go to http://cancertutor.com/ and read everything you can there. Also buy the book called "Cancer, Step Outside the Box" available at Amazon where you can read testimonials from others who have read the book, including another author who wrote 2 books about treating cancer himself. Highly recommended.

i don'y know about mestasis, but my aunt survived colon cancer ( i think its the same as bowel cancer) it was rough for a moment, but she's perfectly okay, my friend sally's mom also survived cancer (breast i think) when her hair grew back after chemo it was curly!! she was so exited, she always wanted curly hair. my sister is a nurse in the or, she says that there are two important factors in survival 1. how badly that person wants to live and 2. how much support do they get from thier family. all you can do is be there, and try to stop freaking out ( i know you must be) it isn't going to help. i hope everything is ok in the end, that must be very scary.
