Thrombosed External Hemorrhoid – will it go away on it’s own without surgical intervention?
I did about 12 hours of flying on the last of 8 days of travel and suffered some irregularity during those 8 days. The day after returning was spent in the bathroom while my body got rid of everything.
Now I have what appears to be an Thrombosed External Hemorrhoid. (looked it up on the internet)
It is about the size of a blueberry to view with the inside feeling about the size of a pea and very painful.
Is it possible for this to resolve on it’s own or will I need medical intervention? The info I got on the internet did not really cover the healing part except when surgical means were taken.

Hi I am 39 and have 4 kids. After having all my children I was always irregular and had Hemorrhoid all the time. I would not have sex without the lights off and my husband could not ever go near. I have surgery and it was the best thing I ever did. He hurt very bad for the first couple days but after that it was so worth it. I am very happy now and So is my husband.
Since your hemorrhoid is thrombosed (clotted with blood) then you will need to have a doctor cut it open and have the clots removed. This will allow your hemorrhoid to heal properly and quickly.
Once your diet and metabolism have returned to normal it may subside, butt, sorry for the joke.It may be easier to put this problem behind you . sorry again! If you see a proctologist. You may not need surgery you may receive a rubber band which will make the rhoid dry up and fall off. Once the blood vessel has been stretched like a balloon it will always have a tendency to do so again! If you do not want it to reccur think about it.
