Internal hemorrhoid, blood still in stool?
I had blood in my stool earlier this year (never had any pain), then had a colonoscopy and the doctor said I had a few internal hemorrhoids but they were nothing to be alarmed about. He said to increase my daily fiber and drink a lot of water. The blood went away for a few months.
So I’ve been taking 35 grams of fiber (metamucil) and today there was a LOT of blood in there. Was it just because I was straining?
The doc said it was nothing to be alarmed about. Should I worry?

If you have had a colonoscopy and the doctor informed you about the hemorrhoids then I would not be concerned. The blood from hemorrhoid should be bright red as it is coming from the anus and not higher up. If it would be dark red or like coffee grounds, I would ask to be checked again.
To be honest thats not going to do anything for you. You need to be using a solution. As a GP I recommend Venapro
