I have blood in my stools?
I had anal sex a month ago. Started having diarrhea for 4 days then constipation and now blood in my stools. Have seen a doctor 2 weeks ago and was told i have internal hemorrhoids and anal fissure. How long should this last? Should i go back to the doctor? Will i need a colonoscopy?

You should go back to your doctor immediately and be completely honest about your activities, in order to get the appropriate help you will need to tell your doctor everything you have done, and are feeling. Do not have sex with anyone until after you have spoken to your doctor and have received medical help, and are healed, hopefully won’t be able to pass on what you have contracted. You should also wait a few months after you have fully healed, and with your doctors permission, to have sex , go to your doctor frequently to be checked for any residual pathogens in your system. This is serious, go back to your doctor asap.
Im only in my freshman year of med school, so i can’t give your yes or no on the last couple questions, but your doctor will be able to.
wow thats harsh …
go to da doctor again.?
Whoa, you should definitely go back to the doctor.
maybe a new butt hole is needed, on sale at macy’s.
See a doctor. Stop having anal sex. This is what happens when you force foreign objects into your rectum. The rectum is a waste disposal device, not a receptacle for foreign objects (especially not ones that can output blood-borne pathogens for sexually-transmitted diseases).
This should be in the Health section. Just because gay guys have anal sex doesn’t mean they know the answers to health problems that pertain to the anus. Anyway, you lucked into me, because I know a few things about health, mostly animal, but tomato, tomotto, we’re all mammals (except animals that are invertebrates, birds, fish, reptiles and amphibians, but I digress).
I would say that your anal fissure will last quite a while if it isn’t vigorously treated with creams/ointments. Minor ones should heal up on there own over about a week or so, but some severe ones sometimes need surgery to repair. It sounds like yours is pretty serious, definitely go back to the doctor, if it hasn’t healed up by now, I would be very worried.
